What is the Long/Short Strategy?
With the Long/Short Strategy, you can automatically invest in or reduce holdings of cryptocurrencies during bull or bear markets, thereby achieving asset growth. This is a Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) investment strategy. The cycle for buying or selling cryptocurrencies can be set to daily, weekly, or monthly.
Which cryptocurrencies does the Long/Short Strategy support?
Currently, the DCA strategy supports more than 10 different cryptocurrencies for buying or selling.
How to use the Long/Short Strategy?
- Log in to the Topcredit homepage - Jingang section, and go to [Strategic].
- Select your desired assets from over 10 available cryptocurrencies and subscribe to the DCA strategy; You can create different combination strategies for single or multiple cryptocurrencies.
- The strategy name can be edited to name the individual DCA strategy.
How to create a DCA strategy?
- In the app, click on [Strategic].
- The strategy name can be customized; the system default name is "DCA Strategy".
- In [Asset Configuration], click on [+ Add Asset] to manually select the cryptocurrencies for the DCA strategy, and choose a combination of multiple cryptocurrencies.
- Choose cryptocurrencies for the DCA strategy. You need to select at least one token to start. For example, BTC or ETH. After selecting, click [Confirm].
How to cancel/delete a DCA strategy?
- To pause or resume the strategy, go to [Strategic] - [My Strategies] and toggle the [In Progress] button to pause or resume the strategy.
- To edit the strategy or change the investment frequency, click [Edit].
- To permanently stop the strategy, click [Delete Strategy].
What happens to my DCA strategy if there are insufficient funds?
If your balance is insufficient to fund the DCA strategy, the system will not enable this function and you will not be able to create it. If the balance is insufficient for an already active strategy at the next scheduled investment, the system will notify you of the failure to deduct funds for the DCA strategy. You can manually purchase or sell the corresponding cryptocurrencies.
How many DCA strategies can be subscribed to simultaneously?
You can subscribe to a maximum of 10 different cryptocurrency types for the DCA strategy.
